This issue is still persistent on Tranquility right now.

This has nothing to do with Mouse Drivers or the Operating System. This is purely an Eve Client issue and has to do with the CarbonUI framework updates to the Eve client.

So far, this Carbon based stuff (could have put a better expletive) has done nothing to improve our gameplay. NOTHING... NADA... ZILCH ZIP NICHTS... GARNICHTS! Is CCP looking into other issues players are experiencing...??? Such as the laggy/non-responsive overview?

I will test on Sisi tonight and state my findings.

I know it's still on TQ, the fix is only on SiSi and it would be great if you could see if it's still happening to you thereSmile

Hey, i finally was able to get on SISI.

So, here's the current functionality I'm seeing, can you confirm this is what is supposed to happen?

I Click on the "X" - I HOLD down for a few moments

The X will Disappear.

I release the click

The window stays open

The X IMMEDIATELY reappears

So it doesn't glitch out anymore - however an extended click doesn't close the window

(The fact that the extended click doesn't close the window doesn't inherently bother me because I will hold a click to cancel an action sometimes, usually combined with moving off of the X / Button that was intended to activate on Click Release)

However, it does not glitch out anymore and require a "move off window" and back to "X" - which is very good for me.

Where I am.

Yeah I'd say this is just how it's supposed to work.

At least if you're able to close the windows with just a regular click (as you guys were having issues with before) then I think we're all happy!?:D

Tested on Sisi. Works as intended now. Nicely done. Really odd, wtf would have caused that?

Hover cursor over window, reveal X, click X, close window. Fairly simple code isn't it?

I'm having a strange issue, only for the information window in the current sisi build
* it won't minimize, can only be closed
* it always forgets the last size of thew window itself when closed and appears in a small window when re-opened (anchored to top-left corner of the previous state)

at work right now, will open a bugreport with logs when back home.

you're almost there Big smile

It's about the same, the " . _ + "only its popping back if the cursor stays within the window atm @ sisi

If u click on x (or anything in the /headerButtons/ range), hold and release it outside the
window(can be another window, as long its outside the current one) the buttons are gone again,
until u get that pointer back again in the window.

now that's just by design, windows that don't have focus aren't showing the buttons

I consider this issue fixed and will go on to make more FiS features! Blink
