Hello EVE

Ok I have a great idea. It would be awesome if we could stop in at a station and purchase deferent metal type colors for our ships.
If you look at the ships now they have a split pattern of two colors on them , it would be nice to change those colors.
I know there are deferent Federations but still the ships are labeled as to who there with.

Custom Colors would be awesome I think , what do you all think ? Stu

do you really want to see fleets of pink drakes, abaddons, tengus etc. in space that much?

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Think dirtier.

Think massive fleets of pink Thorax cruisers. Basically a giant blaster-equipped flying member.

Or a pink Iteron MK IV ( I think that's the uber long one, isn't it?)

"Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Best Meltdown Ever.

They could add a little bit of shader control. They don't let us hop around like goobers in captains quarters, so I doubt they'll allow pink ships.

But controlling the shaders and tones ... they could do that.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

MK5, you mean.

A bad analogy is like a leaky screwdriver.

Definitely looking forward for this. The new Ark, Paladin paintjob looks terrible and damnation is not good either. Also puting camos on space ship thats just crazy that would probably first things to go.

You put up three of the ships I feel they finally got the paintjob right on, in Sisi. Beautiful ships.

They need to fix the ship viewer window. It distorts colors from what they are in space.

Or is it the other way around? :)

Not sure. But an option for me to set the background to Amarr space gold would be nice. Everything I have comes out looking green tinted with that sickly Gallente feel. Just give us a small option at the top of the viewer to choose what nebula type we're viewing from ... or empty space, if we wish.

So, if we had a suspect timer, could we dock and repaint our ships and magically the authorities wouldnt recognize us?

Doubtful that the authorities actually visually inspect other ships, considering we're all concord tagged and that is a quicker form of identification anyhow. Really hard to see things in space that are miles away.

Yes, let's have nothing in the background of the ship viewer. No nebula, no stars, nothing. Just a GPU-rendered black frame with nothing in it to light or shade the ship.

In fact, let's just take it out all-together and have the fitting screen the way it used to be. Save some CPU and GPU cycles every time I dock. Also, it would send us back to a time when titans and motherships and Guardian-Vexors were something not everyone had seen, and most only in screenshots or videos. Puts a little wonder back in the universe.

Wow, you sound pretty bitter. Take something personal, or just carrying it into the conversation with you?

Fair point though. You'd have to have a light source in the ship fitter. Of course, I'm hoping you read the other part of that quote that had 'make it an option'. As, let each pilot select their own preference for lighting and nebula, including no nebula at all.
