Hey chaps I've just finished training light dictors and am having trouble choosing what race to fly.

It is to be used for small gang work,I'm aware that this sort of thing is subjective and have read in
various places that this one is better than that one, only to see elsewhere its the other way around.

All races/mods are on the table I've got them all, what hulls/fits you fellas rolling

If you are in a gang a double bubble fit sabre is good. Get in get out. Solo is a different story.

Sabre. The rest are a lot worse.

Why would you not use an alt to post on the forums?

Basically none of the dictors have any real combat potential except for the Sabre (the flycatcher is the closest but not even close), you can fit a decent tank and gank and still have an interdiction launcher. I used something like this for camping WH exits and trapping targets :

Requires a 3% CPU implant, or you need to downgrade the extender/DCU, 423 heated dps with hail, 7k EHP tank.

However the other dictors are much cheaper with the Eris being half the price of a Sabre however it has massive CPU problems, if you want your dictor purely for get in get out bubbling the other dictors would be better as they are cheaper and can fit similar stats for pure bubble + mwd + ehp setups (except the Eris).

Yeah, for solo, Sabre is where its at. Fleet work, the other dictors are much more competitive, especially given their lower prices.

Just remember that dictors are still a flying coffin. While better than they used to be, one still needs to be very wise about the fights they choose. Personally I've found best results (out side of fleet/gang op) when flown with a partner and improved cloak. The "surprise" bubble can be a big difference in getting fights as well. Folks tend to get panic in and around bubbles so seeing a dictor on scan will scare off a gank target fast.

sabre. sure every dictor can launch bubbles, but only the sabre can do so while also sporting a 600HP supercharged engine and teeth.

for fleet work, 600HP engine is even more important. Sure fly other dictors but when you really want to dictate the fight, fly a sabre.

Yeah other dictors seriously need some work, the Flycatcher is the only other one that has acceptable damage capability but still not in the league of the Sabre, the rest are just sad. It's kinda weird that the other 3 dictors are missile dictors (with the Eris being split weapons, but it's horrible).

Blob dictors are flying coffins. If you're flying it, you're doing it wrong - let some other chump do it instead.
