Buddy Program Question

Say I use the buddy program with a friend and he accepts it and is on the 21 day trial. I was wondering, if he makes enough ISK to buy a plex and plexes his account within the 21 trial frame, will I recieve the PLEX reward for recruiting him or does he have to physically buy a month or how does this work?

To my knowledge, activating an account with PLEX will not give the inviter the PLEX reward. Not 100% sure, though, so someone needs to confirm this.

if a buddy invite is activated with plex, you get 30 days of play time instead of getting a plex yourself.

I should buy an Ishtar.

What Daniel said. This is snipped from the "Terms and conditions" of the buddy program.

Just popping in to confirm the confirmations. If you subscribe a Buddy Invite account using PLEX, the issuer can not select the PLEX reward. I believe the issuer can choose the catalyst collection instead of 30 days of game time, but I have not tested this.

Thanks all! I was just double checking because I would help him get a PLEX so he can play longer and hope after his first PLEX he can start making enough ISK to almost pay for one himself with lots of work!
