Where did my modules go?

I'm on a FW mission that took me 26 jumps. When I got to the mission site I saw the rats, but my modules disappeared! No high. medium of low. I've clicked all the options on the capacitor wheel and even opened the options settings, but I can't find a way to reset. Do I have to abort the mission, or is there another way? Incidentally, the rats are not shooting at me.

I take it back. The rats aren't shooting because I'm already a pod pilot! Seriously, why did my modules dissappear? I was using them during the long transit, so I know I had them when I started out.

would you hide the modules by accidentally clicking the "<<" button at the HUD panel?

I think this is likely, but it may be that, like you were saying, you lost your ship and didn't realize you were floating there in your pod, zoomed out maybe?

Sounds like a player or the rats killed your ship.

sounds like he might've been on AP, and the pod got away at some point, though OP didn't notice the loss...

check your character sheet -> combat record -> losses to see what happened.
