Anyone know if there exists an up to date repository that has evemon skill plans that can be importable? Say if you have a industry character and want to train everything that helps you with PVE or PVP.

I don't know if there is such a thing, but I like the idea. Big smile

The EVE Skilltracker beta offers this, albeit piecemeal. You can look through the badges and export EVEMON skill plans for the ones you are interested in.

That said, it would still be nice to be able to just describe a very high level goal and get a complete plan to then tweak as desired.

Confirming Eve Skilltracker is an awesome tool.

BUT

What is needed here, and what I believe the OP is talking about, is something that I also brought up in a previous post:

A simple, easy to follow "recommended skill queue" for each of the various professions listed in the professions Eve page.

If this queue can be official, by CCP, and in-game, it would be even better.

It could be a list of certificates, or a list of individual skills - either would be ok.

But in any case, for a new player that seeks to get into action ASAP, and not waste time on irrelevant skills, a feature like this is not just great to have, but rather essential. Currently, with certificates and skills scattered around, it is not helpful for one to decide what to spend time on.

Thank you CCP in advance for giving this suggestion a thought.

The certificates are only useful at the very lowest level. As soon as you move on to bigger ships and T2 it becomes a congested mess that suggests completely unrelated skills.

I do support the idea of a skill plan.

Like if I want to fly a Talos I'd like a plan that involves the skills useful for doing so. Right now I use EFT and click on each separate module to get an idea of what I need to learn but I'm sure there's a dozen I missed.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

Certificates at first ... but i noticed that some advanced certificates are also very useful, for example command ships certificates.

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.
