When will we see faction and pirate destroyers added to the game?

Soooo...is there any chance we'll ever see faction and pirate destroyers added to the game? Pirate

destroyers are flying cardboard

they would go boom fast, unlike most pirate ships

Dessies are only good for salvaging ships when you're too cheap to buy a Noctis.

I will admit, however, that the new Dessies are all pretty sexy, and they make me wish Dessies were a more viable ship class.

Don't care about your opinions on the destroyer - I asked if we will ever see faction and pirate based destroyers? We have faction and pirate frigates, cruisers and battleships - why not destroyers? I love flying dessies and would like to see some more variations to this class of ships and I think faction and pirate based versions would make great additions to the game. Pirate

What would be killer is is we would get T3 versions of the destroyer. This...this would rock!

Tbh I can already see that based on how the navy drake works the navy talwar and corax will have 8 launchers too :D

Apart from the pirate frigs which pop when you look at them. It actually makes allot of sense to have faction and pirate destroyers, they would be amazing little ships and absolutely awfull to fight against. Fast with amazing DPS for their size but hopefully a little bit more staying power.

T3 Dessies would be the secks.

As for current Dessies.... Algos and Corax are straight-up WWII-era uboat, looks-wise.
Perhaps that could be the new T2 Dessie class, using the new hulls? Cloaky Dessies that fire smaller torps under cloak (with a huge penalty to speed, scan resolution, and accuracy, and automatically decloak/recloak when they fire and/or need a "spotter" to even target anything). I'm sure CCP could figure out a way to give something like that enough of a weakness to make it workable.
