a couple of small suggestions

recently i trained up covert ops ships, not knowing the whole time that i would need to have the covert ops cloaking device to be able to warp around cloaked. it was a major bummer to find out that i would need to train for another week just to be able to cloak warp.

so my first suggestion is to put something in the cloaking devices info about which ones can warp while cloaked, it would have saved some disappointment on my end.

so for the other suggestion. a while back i trained to fly the orca, it would have been really nice to know that it couldn't fit strip miners, having "cannot fit strip miners" on the orca's info would have saved me the trouble of even bothering to train it.

now im no programmer, but, it seems to me that it wouldn't be too difficult or time consuming to revise some of the ship and item info's to more accurately describe what the ship or module actually does in game.

thank you in advance for any consideration yous guys at CCP may give this subject

I can't wait until the OP trains into a Rorqual and tries to jump it through a gate....

I too was disappointed when I trained into a Dread and found out it could neither warp cloaked OR use strip miners! I mean, whats the point of a seige if it doesnt make it mine more right?

What a waste of training...

whats the point of having ship and item info in the game if i still have to google every ship and item to find out how it works

yes i should have seen the orca\strip miner thing, but the covert ops cloaking device should say that its the one to use for warping, it would just make it nicer for the next dumba** to come along.

My favorite version of this was when a new corp member wanted to come out on a stealth bomber roam with us, but he couldnt seem to fit any of the highslot mod on it.

He was trying to fit a Covert Ops Cloak and Torpedo launchers on a tristan. (this was before the nemesis remodel).

We mock him to this day. Lovingly.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

This is called learning. Who cares if you were frustrated that you had to wait another week to properly fly a digital representation of a ship in an internet game the way you wanted to?

There is this site. Google I think it is called. It is the best place to start when you don't know something. If you have not done something before, assume you don't know anything about it and research. Filling in your gaps of knowledge with how you feel things should be is the best way to not only look stupid but be constantly disappointed. You also carry this same mindset in your day to day life. It is pathetic to be this way.

...... look, its not a point of dont use forums..... its the point of use your brain. Read whats there and if you cant understand what you just read then look it up. Why is it people are ok with using google for something in WoW but in eve, with a ingame browser, find it impossible?

EvE isnt hard, stop being such a 5yr old and learn to put information together

oh, and did any of the previous posters link a good resource to something that might help me, no, all i can see is a bunch of flaming trolls. so that makes all of you just as guilty of being dumb and lazy as i am. (dumb because you didn't have the foresight to see this insult coming, and lazy 'cause you didn't post any good resources)

it also makes you guilty of worse, your wasteful (see i intentionally left the 're from you're just so that i could save earth resources)
and see here i thought Iceland was supposed to be progressive and eco-friendly, but we got CCP over here wasting peoples time and money, not to mention earths finite resources. shame
