For a heayy missile ship, are painters or webifiers better? Not counting HAM atm.

I'd personally go for a painter. Doubling the targets size equals roughly to lowering the targets speed by half. Given the awesome range of painters you can use it in more situations then you could use a web.

Also a web only slows down a target, it doesnt help shooting smaller targets with bigger missiles with decent explosive velocity. But the velocity penalty is greater then the benefits when you paint someone at close range.

Im a fan of painters since they also buff your friends and drones shooting the target.

That was my guess, so I already set up the empty space in my training que to accomodate target painter skills. Saw the Signature Focusing skill and perked.
