So, I noticed only 2 bugs: first, when you turn on the radial menu and move mouse around, there is HUGE constant fps drop; second, new jump animation sometimes glitches at the and or at the beginning.
I also had all brackets turned on.

Did you experience any disconnects or crashes?: Yes, two: client disconnected when I was spamming jump on a gate and also a "CCPexefile has stopped working" crash near the end of the fight.
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: There is a lot of lag coming out of gate jumps and jump bridges, not to mention that it hiding the GUI is pretty bad. New titan deaths are really good!

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: During the first jump bridge the warp tunnel effect was absent and could only see the nebulas around. Also as soon as the second bridge went up, there was no option to "jump to". Had to wait for the titan to reactivate jump portal for the action to appear. Also, after getting podded, the camera seemed to spin around randomly. Everything else was fine, however.

Discribe you experience, make comments, suggestions, etc:
Noticed only a very few glitches, one of which being the jump effects cutting out prematurely, the other being the radial menu causing the mouse to move sluggishly. Other than that, this is truely an amazing upgrade to TQ, and I look forward to seeing it launched officially :D

Ran two PC's for a total of 3 chars. (more than one client on my 8gigs of ram in the MassTests will crash out the who system each time)

Machine Info and Settings

  • OS version: Both Win7
  • CPU: i5 2400, i7 960 (crashed out)
  • GPU: GTX 670, GTX 480 (crashed out)
  • RAM: 8gig, 12gig (crashed out)
  • How many clients were you running at the same time? 1, and 2 (crashed out)
  • Graphic setting of the client (low / medium / high): medium, low? (crashed)
  • - Anti-Aliasing: OFF, OFF (crashed)
    - Shader Quality: medium, low (crashed)
    - Texture Quality: high, medium (crashed)
    - LOD Quality: don't remember

User Experience

  • Average FPS during the fight at the gate in 6E-578, zoomed out (brackets / no brackets): did not measure
  • Average FPS - Zoomed in (brackets / no brackets): n/a

  • Memory usage of the client (if checked): On my primary client it peaked at 1.8gigs (that i saw), didn't even get into the fleet fight before my secondary machine crashed out, i tried to check ram, but it went unresponsive.

  • Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) Better, but i'm guessing that is because it is a very controlled environment. (eventhough alot of Jackholes still break rules and SB/engage everyone long before spossed to, and are not punished)

  • Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? Yes, secondary machine crashed out after first system jump. One of its clients went fully unresponsive, system prompted error saying something about a C++ Runtime or some such. System as a whole was unresponsive (left the remaining client from that PC in test until podded).

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: not a fan of the not-so-'seemless' jump transition. Allow my to have my GUI still, please.

  • Also, please, for the love of all that is good, if you are getting paid to run a MassTest, make sure you get your crap together...."warp to Hab..." Hab's not in system...."warp to hab"....hab's still not in system...really guys? And "start fighting"....but ignore this continual ECM burst that prevents you from...i don't know...fighting...for the first 5 minutes of the 'fight'...

  • Average FPS - Zoomed in (brackets / no brackets): am bad/pro, didn't test
  • Memory usage of the client (if checked): ditto
  • Was client performance better or worse compared to your TQ experience with the same settings and fleet size? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 7, compared to many months ago, it honestly seemed a lot smoother without even turning brackets off, just no drone brackets iirc. that's not to say it's without some stutter, & the warp effects do kick in some fps lag, but generally the fights seemed smoother.
  • Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? No, for a change
  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: As mentioned to CCP Macheen(sp?) in FleetX, the radial menu conflicts somewhat with trying to drag&drop locked targets. 1 char of mine was flying logi, reordering locked things, and this was awkard.

  • Also the last entry in the right click->orbit menu was the label/tag's code name rather than value.

The loss of the UI when jumping, but the ominous present warning of traffic control, leaves one wondering quite how safe their ship is at that time.
Also, you can't seem to reposition said warning from the ui while it's showing in these transitions.
