They are currently gun boats, which can be pretty funny when some one attacks thinking that its some sort of repair vessel. But it would be nice to have some more logi options and those ships have an update coming up iirc.

I envision them as special ops ships that would see action on commando style raiding rather than front line duty.

Maybe they could have a reduction in the targeting delay caused by cloaks and the option to wield both types of repper rather than one or the other. This would give them great versatility and very much compliment the idea of a long range patrol using a non standard force composition.

The tank could be the same or maybe a bit better than the t1 ships, this would maintain the t2 logi role as a front line tanker/RR. The price point for a N.I.logi could be set to 60% or 85% of a T2 logi. So the t1 logi would still be fine option for standard roams but players wouldn't be too afraid of losing the N.I.L on a dangerous trip.

Has there been any discussion on this yet? I looked a bit and didn't find a thread.

I'd rather t1 cruisers that don't have navy versions become logi, like the moa, thorax, rupture, and maller.

I think one of the last things EVE needs is more logi ships.
