CCP ExeFile has stopped working

Just about every other session change is causing eve to crash. Sometimes in mid warp. This began shortly before the patch ,but since retribution 1.2 has become much more frequent. I have tried several things on my end such as updating drivers, changing monitors, and running the repair.exe for eve.

Let me know what system info would help out and I will provide it. This really bothers me and I'm afraid to pvp if I could crash at any moment.

I tried reinstalling eve and clearing the cache, the 3rd session change I made resulted in:

4th crash this morning.

"verification failure

Your EVE client installation may have modified, damage or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe located in the EVE game directory or re-install the game client.

This after I reinstalled eve last night...

Similar issue here - It's the first day since patch i can spend more time online and I have noticed that I am getting eve crashes everynow and then. Am online since like 7hours now, crashed twice. Each time while I was doing nothing (had eve alt-tabbed).

Windows 8 64bit, almost fresh system with all drivers up to date

Any update on this from CCP? The crashes seem to come almost entirely from session changes, although I did have one on a warp and another from an acceleration gate in a 0.0 complex.

Hi,

You could try this, I'm not sure if it will work or not but the last error is "BEX" which is an overflow buffer error, so it might..

Right click on Computer -> Properties -> advanced system settings -> under the advanced tab click on performance Settings... -> Data Execution Prevention -> Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select and add your eve.exe to the list.

Edit: DEP can't be disabled for EVE per-se, but you can probably disable it completly and give it a try http://www.zensoftware.co.uk/kb/KnowledgebaseArticle10002.aspx

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

I freeze up within a minute of logging in. I can get through the Character screen and to the ship hangar. Or if I just sit at the login screen it will do the same thing.

Was working fine last night, roamed for hours and hours. No idea what the deal is.

I did a repair, I log in for a minute and then my eve screen fades and it hangs/freezes. Doesn't even crash technically. Just sits there, doing nothing. I have to force it to close out.
