I don't often come on the forums but having just read this news I have to say, this is more expensive in the long term than just simply having a second account.

1 PLEX costs more than 1 months subscription.

You can only fly one character at one time on one account.

You might say that you only want one character who just does x job and that's it? But training that alt into a multi-purpose tool to support your main is cheaper in the long run and more useful.

I think CCP should go back to the drawing board with this BAD idea.

I'd rather have a sub 900k SP Cyno alt than one with more SP.

I already have full manufacturing toons, and I just want another 10 T1 manu and 10 Research slots.

I want a market alt.

Etc.

At a certain point, more "keep training forever" characters offer very little utility over "train for a little bit." Just because you're not at that point for your valuation schema doesn't mean it's a bad idea.

If you prefer the separate account, run a second account instead.

They need to add a dunce cap to the NEX store just for you.
