why is that shared weapon system a problem? did i miss that in the OP ?

OP, please double check your calculations there, i dont think you want to nerf missiles as hard as you did with your numbers.

So she misunderstood your easily misunderstood post. That doesn't make her a twit. That makes you a bad communicator. And she's right, you're full of ****, clearly.

That is exactly what happened. I still think he's full of **** though...

Then it still needs a tremendous nerf, the only way I can top that in nullsec is with some incredibly specialised fits which will be obsolete once the patch lands. Nobody should pull in 70-80 mil with absolutely no risk at all.

Make the raven into a mid-range rail brawler. That should work. Roll

If you're having trouble with 70-80mil in nullsec, you're probably doing something horribly wrong cause in dronespace I was getting 50 in a drake soloing. And you'd be pretty balls to the wall getting 80 in a raven missioning (my golem yes, regular cruise raven right now, no) definitely having salvaging and great mission chains for that.

Also as scary as it might be to say. It seems to me that highsec is fairly dangerous lately (lots more dangerous then it ever was for me in null)
Had 1 purifier jump into a mission I was doing for no reason yesterday and tried to knock me down in health enough so the rats would finish off my golem (ASB/T2 fit mind you) only to find he had a raven follow him into my space (presumably to scoop my wreck), I ain't at war with these people, and my ship aint even worth, guess their either griefers. Or too stupid to check my loadout and see the ASB and EM resists i had. Kinda sad though, all those blood raider ships around should have given him a clue. Also the lack of faction gear.
You don't get that kinda crap out there in null cause if you see anyone whose neut or hostile, you just run and hide. Highsec you can't see these people coming.

And thats not even the first time this month (and I've moved areas. Even missioned with different boats. People jump in, and either A go for the gank right off, or B lock you and I'm guessing equipment scan you to figure out if its worth the effort.)
I know of 6 others that crap like that has happened to.

I miss the days when everyone who jumped into my pocket just wanted to steal the salvage. And I'd let them, Abandoned wrecks, I'd even hand fitted salvagedessy/noctises(after their release) to some who stuck with me for a while so we could both make money better.

It entirely depends what you do in nullsec. Most anoms don't seem to net you that much. Solo raven you'll be lucky to hit 80mill. Sites can make a lot more than that. Made 200mill in 15 minutes last night off one site. And yes, you would have to go full on balls to the wall to net 80mill in a Raven missioning in highsec, not to mention be lucky with the missions. This is why people are saying that Grunnax Aurelius is full of ****.

The danger level in high sec generally comes from people flying ships with expensive mods in them. If it's worth the gank, the gankers will gank, mostly. You do get those that just want to pad their killboard, though, as it sounds with you. Golem makes for a juicy killboard boost. As far as I'm concerned this is a good thing. For new players high sec is safer than low or null. As you get better and your wallet gets fatter you buy better and better ships and mods. You get to the point where you're worth ganking. That is an incentive to make some friends and move to null because it's arguably safer than high sec at that point because you don't have a false sense of security. It's not actually safer though. It's literally just the way you perceive threat.

But back to the topic at hand...

I agree, I've noticed just by looking at the map that there's loads of kills in high sec, but hardly any in low or null unless a single system lights up due to a large fleet battle. I've been roaming in null for cloaky/intel ops a lot lately and I cant tell you how quiet it is out there. I've spent entire nights being the only person in system. I think the null sec alliances are way too comfortable of late and need to shaken up a bit into defending their space more..

Not supported.

@OP Caldari hybrid usage makes logical sense from a lore perspective and provides variety to what is (and probably always will be) the most missile-heavy race. Medium railguns certainly could do with some tweaking, but that's not reason enough to abandon the thesis behind a third of the Caldari lineup.

I also cannot support the idea of taking missiles away from the other races (especially with a sentimental clause for Khanid to keep theirs). What about Stealth Bombers, Huginn and Lachesis, etc.? The fact that we will soon have an end-to-end line of Minmatar missile-focused ships (Breacher - Talwar - Bellicose - Cyclone - Typhoon) is fantastic from a cross-trained pilot's perspective.

I'm happy to watch CCP continue in their current direction with this sweep. Got to finish up T1, take a look at the pirate faction, and then on to Tech 2. Maybe medium railguns will get some additional love around the time the HACs are re-assessed? After we have had time to sit with the complete revised T1 sub-capital lineup for a little while, any serious problems should be easy to focus in on. These polish passes CCP is making on the T1 frigates and cruisers shows there's no real urgency to getting tweaks perfect before moving on as they will be looked at again within a month or two if necessary, as opposed to several years down the road.

They are pulling in 35-40 mil an hour per account. Note that the claimed figure was with dual boxing. Not a single account income.

Oh, well, that makes more sense then. Nevermind.

@OP, you never did explain why you hate the naga and the rokh, did you?
