Currently I have been using a Corax with HAM but if there are any ships/modules you have been using and had luck with please. Enlighten me. I am willing to spend the isk if it will pay off.

Everytime you read this you are required to send 100 million isk directly to me.

Ishkur.... even when I'm soloing, I still have 5 little friends in my drone bay that will f**k things up any time I tell them to, and never catch wife aggro.

Corax with HAM

Hold up... what?! HAMs are cruiser sized missiles. Corax only gets bonuses (and can realistically fit) frigate sized missiles (rockets and LMs).

Pick a race and use its combat frigates and destroyer. T1 fittings. Make your ships as disposable as possible, and be as reckless as possible. For this to work, try to learn something new every fight.

Personal preference: Minmatar, with the Slasher (fast tackle, zippy thing), Rifter (jack of all trades that everyone underestimates), and Thrasher (murdermobile).

If you stick to Caldari with missiles, look into Condor (fast kiting thing), Kestrel (semi-brawler, semi-kiter; also underestimated), and the Corax -- though please put rockets or LMs on all of those.

Also, if you intend to focus on a PvP angle, I would try to find a corp that is dedicated to PvP (pirate, faction warfare, 0.0, RvB, whatever). Nothing personal about the people in your current one, but corps that do "any profession" in reality mostly do nothing and have little (if any) direction. There are plenty of newbie-friendly or training corps which are focused on PvP (for an example, look at my sig). Same goes for other professions.

Good luck, and fly dangerous!

Wolf is awesome, although I keep failing with them so my KB is a joke ATM, but they're great for solo. But you want a really good solo ship? Fire tail.

Pilgrim is also a nice toy to play around with.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

I second the "Pick a frigate and run with it" approach. You're much more likely to learn more when you aren't afraid to explode hilariously in the beginning. Set aside several million isk, invest it all in a bunch of frigates with decently cheap fittings, and have fun in pirate territory.

Might aswell ask here. What's a good solo ship for 0.0 nowadays, not played for awhile.

Dual ASB Cyclone with the patent pending "Cyno-tank"(tm)

Hey, it's solo - until it's not.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Slasher. Tied with the Condor for best non faction T1 frig in the game IMO.

Go 4 mids or go home.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Seconding this.

If used successfully you'll be flying off burning something fierce. Just remember to visit the "doctor" when you dock at station. Blink
