ok so i tried to find a fix for it couldn't find ANYTHING about it. so im posting it here.

so on eve online on any screen that has a warp jump's on it all the jumps are 2,147,483,647 unless its 1 jump away or inside the station. i've logged out and logged in multiple times wont fix it...kind of irritating cause im new to eve so when im buying something from the market i have to look it up on the map and see how far away all of the items for sale are to see which is closest. does anyone know about this bug or how to fix it??

p.s.(fun fact of this is i now know that the warp jump numbers in the menus are coded as a integer because its the max number for a integer.)

What else would they be? It's not like you ever have half a jump. Lol

Anyway, the, "...unless it's 1 jump away" thing makes it sound like you have System-Avoidanced your way into a corner.

Click the little "A" next to "Route" in the autopilot display and turn off "Avoid systems in your avoidance list" and see if that fixes it.

well I'm a programmer and i prefer using doubles.......but thats just me............lol...............

as a side note yeahh it was the avoid systems issue............somehow i had added avoid Essence........soooo yeahh but got that fixed :D thanks very much

2,147,483,647 to 7 jumps makes me feel a lot better :D

It generally isn't some system from your avoidance list but rather you having ticked the "avoid systems with pod kills" option, so enable your "avoid systems from list" because that actually has a use, and disable "avoid pod kills" because it's a silly option.

Glad OP got it resolved. I'd like to point out the same happens whenever you are in Wspace, since there are no static connections (gates) between systems. So it's not really a bug, it's an indication your autopilot can't calculate the route.

This used to happen as well whenever you looked at bookmarks made in wh space from known space, they would also claim it was 2 billion jumps away. I always thought it was funny that the server had an exact number to a system with no gates.
