Sacrilege. When I first started playing, I saw it and fell in love with it and I started training for it. It's a very sexy ship and also very versatile. I'm hoping it will get a nice buff (missile range please) when AHACs are rebalanced.

The Vexor. That little boat can do anything!

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

The burst.

For me it defines what a minmatar ship should look like. I can just imagine a hill billy inside the cockpit, sitting in a folding lawn chair with a beer in his hand.

I would have to say it's the Rapier because I believe I lost the first one ever in a mishap in front of a large fleet. I also enjoy the ship because it's good for anything. It can fit ECM's when they were super broken, it can fit a great shield tank for piracy and it cloaks. My current Rapier can tank almost 2K DPS with the shield boosting layout I have + Crystal implants while pushing out 400 DPS as a cloaky ship.

My new favorite ship of the month is the Heron. I just came back to EVE and saw someone gave the Heron love. It's a beast of a ship and I run my Heron as a ECM frig destroyer.

Currently the Oracle. I like the turret layout on the hull and giant lasers are always cool.

I got the special heron when i upgraded my account, one of the best looking ships, but the rapier is really cool as well but still too expensive for me :D

I'd have to stick with the Rifter, personally. It's not the best at anything anymore (for now at least), but it's a wildcard that can be fit for almost any roll. It's a workhorse of a ship that is fun to fly. In a world of pixels and pretend money, I think the fun and surprise aspects are most important.

A close second would be the Tempest/Vargur, just for their looks :P

tempest looks awesome, for me the looks is pretty important, would not fly a ship if i don't like the hull no matter how good the rest is :D

Myrmidon.

It was the second "cool ship" I ever owned (the Catalyst being the first) and was so versatile that I didn't need any other ship in my hanger. Passive shield fit for missions? Gimme a second. Armor fit for PvP? I have the mods, lemme swap stuff out. Rigs weren't a problem since I didn't fit them to anything smaller than a battleship (they only came in one size back then).

And the drones... oh, the drones! I had less issues running missions than all of my peers because I focused on them before any "real" weapon system. And the Myrmidon was one of the few non-battleship ships that could use them (next to the Vexor which was a bit... lacking... with my low skills).
The Myrm was simply the best "all-rounder" that could help anyone in a PvE encounter... no matter how experienced or newbie they were.

As time went on and my skills developed I learned of newer and sometimes "better" ways to fit the ship. Double-rep, triple-rep, shield-gank-fit, dual 1600-bait-fit, laser-shield-lol-fit...
anything was possible with that goddamn ship!!

Then the Prophecy was changed/buffed.

My Myrmidon weeps in the hanger.

I'd have to say the Atron. You can do amazing things with that little frig. Fit for kiting, brawling, scram kiting, tackle, tank, speed, just about anything. I love it Big smile

+ 99999 for the myrm.

I saw my friend using one in the first 2 weeks I started and I was like: that's the cutest spaceship I've never seen. It had tiny little arms and kind of reminds me of a penguin.

I crushed my first level 3 mission with one and used them all the time in pvp before retribution.

It's still quite an Awesome ship, actually quite capable in pve still since it got the extra bandwidth. For pvp I'm not so sure anymore, I'm using my prophecy more in that area.

Also I called my first one the Myrmaid :3
