What good are clothes when you're the only one who can see below your torso. We'll get more incarna stuff when wolrd of dakness comes out. Your space barbie is just an alpha test for the engine or something...space barbies weren't really for this game.

You can pull back your character for your portrait to show most of what you're wearing. More importantly though we should have much more variety in accessories, tats, hair styles and shirts/jackets. Some of it could be shared between races but each race really could use their own unique items as well.
The more options we have the more different each of us will look, the more unique we become. Just look back at the old avatars. Each race had it's own unique look, different accessories, hair styles, clothing. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the new avatar creator...best I have ever seen. But we all lost our uniqueness minus the Amarr who kept a few of their things like Hoods and the metal parts on their heads. We need more of that. Caldari used to have some pretty neat eye piece, Minmatar had accessories that fit their race perfectly, breathing masks, robes, weird hair styles.
There is no downside to having these things returned to each race, I would infact think that people would spend more time making them selves look more unique because they would care more about their character. As it is right now...you see to many similar faces. I don't want them to take time away from the work they do on the EVE gameplay, but I miss the old avatars and the sci fi/fantasy feel they used to have. Would love to see updated versions of the old stuff come back. Locked to our races of course...Only Amarr should have hoods, Only Minnies should have the masks, ect...

EVE is always evolving, to say they weren't meant for this game is not true at all. EVE has no limits. It's the best game in the world because of this.

Lastly just wanted to add that the visual items could be a money maker for CCP. While microtransactions usually enrage people...I think this community is smart enough to realize that if they were only for vanity items like clothing that it's not a big deal at all. You don't need to spend real money on it...buy it with is in game. Really has no negative effect on anyone and doesn't alter the game in the process.

I want to go through door and play DUST (within the EVE client on my PC with my EVE character).

That's the idea and why DUST needs to come to PC...

Reopen the EVE gate so we can invade Serenity. Goons can go first.

At the moment no-one can see what's below. Creating a 3 dimensional avatar and making it unique is just a first step into a bigger world. You could have a tombraider-genre space adventure game set in the EVE universe, using your own unique EVE-toon. No limits but what we make them.

"Contract a RL eve player to bring you to station X in null space to continue your adventure game. You could have capsuleers who make a career transferring toons from another game to some point in the galaxy without getting blown up."
