New typhoon what skills

Since I lost one and a half month training for raven ,now ccp will give typhoon missile only bonuses. I love typhoon so can you recommend me what skills must train so I can run fast level 4s and I don't waste one more month for nothing.Also What you think for reactive armor hardener and its related skills?

Reactive armour hardener is pretty nice on battleship class ships since they have good cap to support it. If you're armour tanking your phoon I would recommend it.

aside from general cruise missile skills you'll want to train up:

drone skills
target painting skills
armour tanking skills.

Caldari battleship almost level 5 and since my raven did 42seconds to warp out from the battle(and died when warp activated from missile) my typhoon does max 10secs.

Just so we're clear, there's only like a .7 second difference in the align time between a naked raven and a naked typhoon (at max skills).

My guess is he was bumping into an asteroid or structure for those 42 seconds....

My current typhoon:

5x t2 cruise launcher
3x t1 drone link

1x LMJD
1x omnidirectional tracking link
1x cap recharger
1x sensor booster + targeting range script

1x large armor rep
1x medium armor rep
2x drone damage amplifier
1x primary armor resist
1x secondary armor resist
1x signal amplifier

5x t1 hobs
5x t2 wardens
5x salvage drones

3x rigor rigs

with my "uber" skills it does about 550 or 560 dps. It works alright. Will be interesting to see how the new typhoon will work.

Well I guess you could stick 2 drone amps in the extra lows of the phoon while the raven will comfortably fit 3 painters, a web and got the faster missiles, so the result will be much more direct minimizing counting volleys and losing dps. Also if you got Caldari BS 5 you can jump into a CNR for a lovely 7. missile hard point. Cool

My advice would be to wait and see how the new Raven looks.

My instinct is that it will remain a better missile platform than the Typhoon, for pvE at least.

With my current skills and hammerheads and Fury it pushes out 960dps

Precision 731dps

I have never been a big drone user but you could increase damage with 4 sentrys, i prefer having lots of spares with me.

The Explosion velosity bonus the ship gets is godly!!!!!!

and since you probably you gonna armor tank the phoon there is a good chance the raven will align faster
