It removes the annoying pop-up that used to prevent kills in lowsec, making it one of the best new features in years

You do realize it's actually helpful to suicide gankers, yes?

Instead of turning off warnings completely, they can turn them off before popping a Hulk or two and then back on. Or it can save them a lost point in lowsec because they reinstalled and forgot to turn the warning off.

Set it red

I used to absolutely love sitting outside the rookie system stations in a cloaky ship, watching first-day noobs accidentally get the concordoken, then scream like kindergarteners in local...

In a cloaky ship, eh?
Those rookie players can be rather threatening with their noob ships that do 10 dps.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

He need's to make sure that he cannot lock anything as he would then get concorded and then the noobs would laugh at him.

Does that work on my T1 drones too, I was going to take advantage of this and go Goon hunting, but my ship only has mining lasers...

AFK Cloaking in newbie systems.

I think someone is doin' it wrong.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

So essentially "old EVE" is Safety Disabled yes?

Not quite. You got a popup asking if you were sure. Now you can turn off the safety and never get slowed down my an annoying popup.
