I've added it. i'm on a fiber optic line... even though I think steam would be a better idea for file availability,

Heh, I've got 3 players on my base alone. Can you imagine the odds?

500k subscribers distributed across the entire world and three of them are on the same base as me in the middle of a combat zone?

Anyone a math major here?

Some questions perhaps its answer. Do you run windows xp? if yes you using 32bit version?

Second question. Do you use windows? If Yes do you have SSD drive Or Hard drive?

Third question . If you have Hard Drive! Have you format the drive to FAT or FAT32? If not have you format it to NTFS or exFat? If you don't no see you hard drive for more info. If you know that you have format it. Have you format it to Standard File system or short word file or not? If you have not format it to standard file then the data files can be corrupt if the file gets x* bigger than the limit of you`re file. Don't use usb for it. Even the usb data can be corrupt because of the big files it needs to transfer or to download it to USB. The launcher from eve online is torent, I don't know how precisely it works because its against there rules to invest it.

The answer is if you have format it to FAT or Fat32 the data gets corrupt if the file is larger than x* amount of data that the file can hold on you`re hard drive or SSD.

You need to think that the hard drive is a hous or boxes. Inside the boxes or hous thats free space of data. If the data is bigger than the free space inside hous or boxes then the data gets destroyed or corrupt because its need to break the data in 2. Most of the time it works but some files are just to big to fit x* amount of boxes and houses and can not handle so many splitting. This is just the software limitation of the file format you have selected when you have install the OS/windows or you`re windows is preinstalled. Then you need to reinstall the OS/windows again with the right file format.

* X stand for the random amount of number the file slot is.

I've added a professional seedbox to improve performance.

Thanks to the other seeders!

My company's firewall blocked me after uploading 2.5 GB to the seedbox, so I had to get the rest from the torrent seeds... and it came down at 2.5 MB/sec Shocked I'm curious how much my seedbox will add to that.

I've uploaded 2.4GB so far, but that's not a restriction on my end--I can easily reach upload speeds of 5MB/sec.

I'm currently seeing 5 seeds and 8 leech

I'm at 6.75 gigs, but that torrent can't be current with retty 1.2

yes i just called it retty--the miners call the retrievers rettys, and it has stuck

There was a new client released:
* Thursday April 4th : 514947 = Retribution 1.1.10
* Monday May 6th : 529690 = Retribution 1.2
* Tuesday May 7th : 530538 = Retribution 1.2.1
* Wednesday May 8th : 531180 = ? (no patch notes yet)

So I'll wait a few days before starting a torrent for the newest client.

I am still seeding Retribution 1.1.10 (514947), and will do so as long as the torrent file appears on my EVE-Files page:

EDIT 2: Why do I use client version instead of a simple name like "Retribution X.X.X"? Blame CCP, as they often release no-name patches, Example: when the changes are for DUST514 only.

Well some probably saw this coming. Does anyone have the latest 500mb patch on a torrent? Tried updating it twice and it disconnects before finishing.

I find it easy to keep a current Singularity installation and just export/import the patches from launcher. You get to download the new expansion as they deploy it. If you pay attention to the files, you can just copy the Singularity folder into the TQ folder and just run repair to be sure.

There are alternates to everything :D
