Unknown Faction? Updated Dec, 12 patch. Bug still here.

I have as well that "unknown faction" with negative standing, I did some research and find out that is Rogue drones faction.
I don't know why is displayed as "Unknown".

I have this Unknown faction too. -6.86 standing with them Shocked. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it showed up after 1.1.4 patch. Though it could have been there earlier

I got them after the Retribution 1.1.1 patch, and was able to figure out that this "Unknown Faction" is the Mercenaries.

I also bug-reported it, where the reply was that they were aware of the bug

I just found this show up and was like.. WTF.. so I had to come here to find out whats going on and apparently this is a bug.. but its causing negatives to my standings. I hope this BUG gets fixed. From what I am reading its never been fixed. Sad

EDIT UPDATE : Just so you know.. I have never lost a ship.. although its saying I have.
