Played the EVE CCG ages ago -- 2008 or so? It was fun! Mind, I'm not sure if anyone's still playing it. I didn't see any CCG stuff listed in the FanFest schedule, but then I wasn't looking too closely.

CCP should copy wow and make a online card game that is free to play. Oh How I love free to play games.

Yes, it's a card game made by CCP a few years back.

I don't play it but I collect the cards, I'm still missing about 60 of them.

It was great CCP had remembered to add the core sets to the Collectors Edition. And an option for getting a total of missing cards Big smile

The game was great. There's a level of positional strategy and fine combat granularity that is much closer to a board game than a CCG. Generating resources (by mining asteroid belts) is also much more satisfying than plopping down mana gen cards in most other CCGs. The coolest part, however, is that the game board is literally defined by the cards that the players have, which adds a lot of variety to the games.

The only caveat is that games can go on for a very long time.

too bad there isn't an online version, I'd probably play it. Maybe they should introduce it into the WiS. Muahahaha,

CCP should reintroduce the cardgame, perhaps a virtual-version you can play in EVE, aswell as a physcial version, youc an buy booster packs physical or sigital, however if you buy physical, all cards have a unique code you can enter to get a digital copy of them for EVE.

but honestly, i just really want physical cards to be in production again, give me a reason to go to meijer/kroger/target/etc again. aswell as a new card game t play sicne all the oens from my childhood have becoem bad with all the new "generations" of sets.
