Tried to search for it but had no luck Cry..
So as topic says, is there a yield penalty if you cancel a strip mining module at say 50%.. or do you still gain 50% of the yield it would have given had you let the cycle complete?

Thanks for the help.

Pretty sure there is no penalty for deactivating a strip miners early.
I often do deactivate them early to match the remaining minerals in the asteroid and I never noticed any yield penalty.

Of course, if you are using mining crystals, they still take damage and you get no reimbursement on your capacitor, but the yield is not affected.

So, if you stop it at 37% of the cycle, you will get 37% of the yield.

No penalty at all, you still get what you have mined at that stage. So if you stop it halfway you get half the amount of a full cycle.

There is no penalty at all.

If you mine 1000m3 per cycle, and you cancel it at 35%, you will receive 350m3 of ore.

If Ice Mining is considered strip mining, then there will be a yield penalty for stopping early.
