You know you are playing too much EvE when......

Ok, I do not know if this is at all in the right section. But being without EvE for more that a day makes me do weird and unexpected things. So, to the purists, I apologise.

But , how DO you know when you "play" too much EvE ?

Or to little, for all that it's worth?

For me? When I drive to work, I imagine myself "in warp" to work.

How dare you to mention 'too much' and EvE in one sentence.
Go wash your mouth. There is no such thing as too much EVE

When you're booking airline tickets and lament that getting around in EvE is so much easier.

I've started trying to greet people in real life with "o/".

I always have to stop when I realize I have no actualy way of saying it. "Oh-Slash"?

this. definitely this.

Although, "EvE has too much downtime" is a perfectly acceptable sentence containing "EvE" and "too much". Downtime is also the cause of "too little" EvE on the weekends.

However, you do know when your reality is starting to warp when you only buy crappy cars (because you can afford to replace them), or when you consider ganking the guy in a pimped-out luxury car and hoping the loot fairy smiles on you.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

when you watch real world news and think about how they might affect the EVE economy.

I should buy an Ishtar.

when you leave your house to run grocery errands and reach the cashier once paying for your groceries you look dumb founded at the cashier expecting to hear her say "SKILLS TRAINING COMPLETED"

When you take an instant dislike to a new fella at work, but you can't put your finger on why...

...And a week later it dawns on you: He looks Amarrian!

1. You turn on your TV in the morning and start scanning for the "Intel Channel" to assist your morning commute.

2. At work, you look down the hallway from your office to the copier and yell out "Any Neuts?"

3. You punch the lunch counter teenager and tell him "GF"

4. Ramming your 1991 plymouth into a 2013 Porsche then laughing at them and saying "That was a great gank, eh?"

5. Yelling "I'm war deccing CONCORD for this you pieces of crap", as the local police haul you to the crazy bin for assaulting the above said Porsche.

When you try to hot drop the beer isle.

You refer to going to work as a cta.

When you pull into a walmart parking lot and get an overwhelming urge to scan local for goons

When you watch forums at work from both your cell phone and desktop with 2 accounts and in the meanwhile keep chatting on jabber etc.

Not that I do that, seriously, I'm not that addicted to EVEP

Time enjoyed is not time wasted. As long as you're not ignoring your responsibilities than there is no such thing as "too much". Stop worrying and just have fun!
