It's because it isn't optimized

I run it fine on my 5770 which is from 2009

I'm not endorsing or promoting anything... Just saying that just because you have a pricier card doesn't mean you're going to be playing games with better performance. Especially games like eve online that aren't developed by major companies.

I appreciate you are just stating the obvious, but seriously, why are they foisting this turd on us when they could have licensed an engine and finished the entire project a year ago? No need to rehash all the many criticisms of this 'experience' but its rubbish, slow, a resource hog, reduces docking and undocking to a tedious chore and ultimately adds nothing to eve.
