I was one of the muppets who managed to get to newcastle last year in the storms. Took nearly 5 hours to travel 10 miles. Iam hoping not to do that again. Ill be there weather permitting.
Whom I kidding id get there if it was under water. Lol.

being australian i was realy excited thinking i could go 4 hours drive for a minni fanfest
at newcastle australia

sadly its in london and i cant afford a plain ticket to iceland or england :(

reason i was thinking it was in australia is because ccp has one big server in australia newcastle

Working out the best way to travel down. If solo, bus probably. If anyone else is heading down from this far north I could be convinced to take a car :)

I'm from Newcastle and I'm going. There's a few others I believe ;)

Also the office is on the Gateshead side of the Tyne I think, just the other side of one of the bridges.

I too am from Newcastle alot of folks last year were or form the outlying parts of the North East. Not too sure if anyone from down south had made the journey.

There was a mystery guy who came all the way from Hong Kong I believe it was truly legendary.

Could be wrong but I think the Newcastle studio was born from Midway going down the pan a few years back it was bought by someone, not sure who. Newcastle/Gateshead actually has a pretty strong heritage of game development studios something I don't think the local area bangs on about enough.
