FOATR III: Yet another scripted event...

From the new trailer called Origins, we see at the 3:20 mark a Nyx being destroyed.

So is this the same Nyx that Marlona Sky used in her event yesterday? The answer is clearly yes.

Was it not clear that players do not like scripted events? The answer is we were very clear.

As protest, I along with thousands of others refused to participate in such farce. Our kind will not be fooled.

9/10

You lost a point for using NPC corp alt.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

Well no offense but i'm pretty sure a CGI space battle isn't reflective of a live event. Second off i lean towards the scripting ideas since i saw Caldari Prime's battle. Doesn't matter to me either way i like making my own story blowing the hell out of ships in FW lowsec

P.S. The Gnosis is sick in PVP situations Big smile

Do you understand the concept of a sandbox, or player generated content?

Derp.

You do realize that the event could have gone an entirely different way? If enough players had decided, the Nyx would have survived. PL sure was trying to repair it and for a while they were able to repair more damage than the other participants could dish out.

Whether they were trying to save the Nyx just to cause people tears or just make the event last longer, who knows?

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

I wholeheartedly agree with the first response, seeing how many people have actually bitten.
Me being another one only proves it further.

Obvious troll is obvious. Or... so I thought.

Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene V - Moon 4 - Duvolle Labs Factory. Hybrid charges, Projectile ammo, Missiles, Drones, Ships, Need'em? We have'em, at affordable prices. Pop in at our Ammo Shop in sunny Alentene.

It's not even a troll. It's just someone making a funny.

I'd like to see a real peer-reviewed study on the Asperger's rates among EVE Online players and especially their forumgoers.

I think you missed the memo. They repped the nyx from 30% armor to 80% then it SD'd...

ANY event that is announced is dictated by the players of the game. PL could have showed up to destroy it, or rep it. This could be said about any group in the game.

At the end of the day the outcome of what happened to that Nyx was decided by the players.

End of the day, what happened to the Nyx was decided by the pilot... after all, it went out with the exact purpose to be destroyed, hence why it was self-destructed after PL turned up Roll

The only script is one that marlona made up. There is a reason to what happened but marlona I'm sure will tell you if she feels like it.

I suspect it might appear as an article in themittani.com.

Oh look, an NPC corp alt using a power of two throw-away troll account.

"you billy you bobby you what as if" makes more sense than the vomit that the OP posted.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
