Hrm.... Maybe that is why CCP will never let you update skills through the gate. They want people to contribute to PCU records.

I think the point is to show that after 10 years of EvE, it can still make a record number of accounts logging in. CCP can then use this a possible marketing theme to attract more players which would be better for any community in EVE

On the CCP part i agree , on the player part ... more does not = better.That much i learned in my 9 years of eve.
