This reminds me of when Foiritan tried to bring the various Shipwrights under Federal control towards the end of his reign. That ended with him getting a boot out the door.

With Heth, I'll be amazed if he still has butt cheeks left to be kicked when the Megas are done with him. We're past the days of cups of tea now.

That is what I have been told by Caldari loyalists, if I remember correctly.

Following the Malkalen catastrophe later that year, Heth's particular brand of anti-Gallente patriotism fanned the flames of war with the majority of Caldari corporations pledging themselves to Heth's new Caldari Providence Directorate, effectively making Tibus Heth dictator of the Caldari State

That is what I read right now, at least. Maybe I extrapolate a little too much on the CEP, even if that is the only logical explanation to me ?

I find myself focusing on the fact that KK may not be able to pay it's debts. If they default, then not only does my retirement go down due to CFU losing market value, but billions of other as well. The financial fallout from that would be devastating to the State.

“This biting has led to the loss of our homeworld once again."

This Statement makes me sick. If there's something I can't stand from a Caldari, it's when he tries to shift the blame of his own poor decisions.

Regardless, I'll be looking forward to trading in clearance stock from Echelon Entertainment during the fire sales.

Heth can't even run his own corp and so cannot be trusted to run the state. He must be halted.

I shall actively support any non-violent protest against his dictatorship (as it must now be seen). We must, however, avoid any unnecessary bloodshed in so doing.

Heth has just signed his own death certificate. He never had any grasp of reality yet now he has even less of it.

I may be loyal to the Federation, but half of my blood is still Caldari and if half of me dies, then the rest will follow. Heth must go, if not in the winds then in fire.

Citizens of the State, you have my support if you should accept it. I'll even fly Caldari ships. This may surprise you but I am actually significantly more proficient in shields, missiles, and railguns. Than armor and blasters and drones.

The Gallente and the Caldari worked alongside before and that brought us to the stars. We had our differences and fought over them. Years ago, when we the cooperation and understanding was on the verge of being reborn, Malkalen and the rise of Heth happened.

The only thing standing in the way of peace, is him.

He must be asked to step down, and if he doesn't the Caldari and their allies across the cluster will bring him down. Hell, I have an odd feeling that President Roden would be quite happy to send Ishukone and others that oppose the tyrant some aid, if not direct military support. It may be only for an "enemy of my enemy" sort of thing, but at least we could work towards cooperation once more.

Oh, woe! Is there not a single kind voice in this thread who'll defend the poor, beleaguered Executor of the Caldari State? He's been through so much and not a single soul on the IGS seems to have a speck of compassion for his desperate plight!

No-one?

Hmmm. Fancy that.

You're really in the mood to duke it out with Kim today aren't you Mr. Ixiris? :)

Actually, I've gotten bored of engaging in battles of wit with unarmed opponents.

I was more making a point at how godawful you have to be when not even one person on the IGS will defend you.

Let's be fair, though. It doesn't mean he's that "godawful" (even if he's certainly making an effort at it). It just means he's getting that boring.

First, how well did our protest in Nonni work roughly four or five years ago?

Second, do you think the CEP cares whether we support it or not? Do you think Ishukone, Hyasyoda, SuVee, NoH, and CBD are not already against this, while Lai Dai and Wiyrkomi are trying to figure out their position with KK's fall?

Hakatain-haan has been largely opposed to Heth-haan's position and leadership since the man first took control of Caldari Constructions over 5 years ago.

Lai Dai Research Spacelane Security maintains its oaths and contractual obligations to Lai Dai Corporation and, by extension, the Chief Executive Panel and its Executor. We will at this point clarify that, in event of a conflict between charter organizations, LDRSS will follow the directives of its majority holder, Lai Dai Research Biomedical and Cybernetics. This is outlined in section IV of the LDRSS Charter. LDRBC is wholly owned by Lai Dai Corporation directly, and is a member of the Chief Executive Panel of the Caldari State.

We have every confidence that the CEP will do what is best.

I sincerely hope that Kaalakiota sees the light, and places Heth in front of a 425mm railgun. The man is a threat to the state and the people in it.

Otsito Mining and Manufacture will... largely ignore what's going on, and will in turn largely be ignored by pretty much everyone that's in any kind of position to affect... well, anything that's even remotely connected to this particular situation. This is outlined on a napkin I doodled on earlier. OTSI is wholly owned by the Satrapess of the Shifting Sands and High Lord Thingamadoodle, and is a member of the Pinkie Promise club founded under the kiddie table at little Tommy's birthday party twenty years ago.

We have every confidence that whatever we do, it'll never actually have any kind of effect on the CEP or the Caldari State.

Something tells me I might need to hire someone who can read and write legalese.
