Thank you. And resoundingly, thank you. You've cured this old, tired, worn out, bittervet.

I am part of EVE, and I am EVE itself.

The spirit that began this Universe in which we all live, was forged from the curiosity and tenacity of myself and others like me. We mined rocks with frigates and civilian mining lasers, not because it was hard or that we wanted to tell kids how easy they have it now, but because it was our reality at that moment in time.

Your reality, and I say this to those who join us in the future, or even years before now, is defined by what you make of it and what is available to you. While I am still a participant in this grand reality of EVE, I, and all those who came before you, bequeath to you the economic cycle and social connections that brought EVE to this moment of time. Your moment of time. Take it, build it, pass it on, and then we will all be connected. From the beginning of time (6 May 2003) until the heat death of the Tranquility Cluster, the ultimate connection is forged over the links handed on from the generation of pilots before you.

As an active participant in this Universe, I too will continue to strive to make it a better place for those that come after, even though I've already had a hand in doing just that in time past.


...and the most astounding fact? There is nothing CCP can do, ever, to take away what we've created, what we've been, or what we can be. Even when TQ is long gone, the memories, the connections, the satisfaction at having shaped a part of it....will remain. That even then, there will be another group of kids, fresh out of college, full of ambition, ideas, and the sense that they can do no wrong. And they will remember EVE, their memories of this universe we share, and the connections they still have, and even if people come to know it with a different name...

EVE is reborn, again.
