No Item in inventory - Military Tutorial

I am doing the Military tutorial and getting to Step 2 of 5 og "Guns and Ammo". It is supposed to put a weapon in my inventory but I am getting nothing. I closed the tutorial, hit F12 and went back to it and still nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you are looking in the ships hold, and not the station storage.

Or you are in a different station. The safe icon on the left hand task bar brings up all your assets at any station you have items or ships.

Check through each station in the list to see if its in another one. If it is, right click it and select 'set destination'.

It looks like you'd already been given that item previously. Try again now and it should work.
