Damn, I was hoping this event was going to be some sort of anti-social-networking thing. Something along the lines of, "Unfriend them and tell them to come hang out with you in person for a change."

Did this years ago, reduced my friends list from over 400 to 77 people, about half of which are relatives. I didn't bother keeping up with all those people I knew in high school, why should I bother trying to reconnect now?

I have like 30 people that I actually know on my friend's list and am going to leave it that way for the most part. I have no need for a long list of e-friends. I barely look at that **** anyways...not sure what the fascination is with it other than keeping in touch with people you aren't able to physically see anymore.
