Is there a way to make IGB links call up stuff in game? Like make a link to a market item so it calls up the market window with the item in it, it would allow making html notes, friends lists etc, that could be shared to call up info quickly.

I rely on today’s IGB built-in JavaScript functions and HTTP headers. There is a myriad of things one can do with it on a low entry level (while absolutely none of it has to do with authentication or authorization).

I don't like the idea of firing-up out-of-game browsers instead, as the point of my site is to contribute to the players in-game experience.

I don care if the IGB is a bit outdated (its not as worse as IE 6.0), and I don't do my e-banking with it.

While a new In-Game Browser which does HTML5 and CSS3 right would be nice, as long as current functionality stays ...
... I prefer having the worst CCP API server anomalies fixed, and CREST and SSO (with a Two-Factor Authentication!) delivered, before new building sites are opened up.

Also CREST and SSO are advanced developers functions and need a new Dev-License. While the IGB JS-functions and HTTP headers is entry level stuff every average web-designer can do, without being a full-blown developer.

While I appreciate the efforts and ideas of CCP with the new developer website and license, if I develop something for the web which is redistributable and easy to install for non-technical people, I will stay with those low-level functions, as I don't want to ask my clients to get a developer-license for every of their installations.

Those my ISK-cents.

We could not care less about this argument, because, quite obviously, it do exists. And there was, once upon a time, a method to call the OOG browser with IGB link.

I don't think we're discussing the current "awesome" IGB in game. Neither in state, nor in form.
What we need, it can't provide.

CREST and SSO ...
...web 2.0...

Are you drunk? Is this a kind of mantra? Speak proper english, please.

For the love of god this thing needs to be updated. 50% of the websites out there cause it to hang which makes the entire client unresponsive for a few seconds.

At the very least give us an option to shut off the IGB and have all URL's load in the system default browser.
