Sooooo....

An apotheosis is a small ship. Doesn't refine into much, looks neat, affordable on any budget. Great gift, no problem!

A Genosis is very cool looking. I'm looking forward to it quite a bit...

500,000 accounts X 1 Genosis @ 50 Mil ISK (Conservatively) = 25 Trillion ISK

..just food for thought.

... perhaps reprocessing a Gnosis will carry a severe and automatic standings penalty... just to make it painful to "scrap" such a beautiful hull. Twisted

Unless they are getting a base insurance payout of 50 mill, it's ISK trading. No ISK is created.

Lol what? It's not generating isk. The amount of minerals generated is a drop in a bucket, and nobody is going to reprocess it anyways. Honestly, as cool of a ship as it is, it's of little consequence really.

You can back pedal all you want, it's not an isk injection and no one will ever reprocess one on purpose. So nothing will happen to the economy or the mineral market.

I'm more pissed off about CCP killing the Genolution Core Augmentation Implant market. It must be hard to find things to give away. Thanks heaps CCP.

Can someone point me to the "cpp is killing my market investment" thread.

The best way to protect your investment is to simply start ganking pods. With Tags4Sec coming soon, its a win-win to start burning sec status by ganking pods on the undock.

Insurance on hull loss, however, is an isk injection.

Naming it the Gnosis is CCP's hint that it's really intended to be a platform for exploration (even less surprising that it's being introduced with an expansion focusing largely on exploration).
