Depends on if they're T2 rigged.

idk how goo prices should affect super prices, but I guess the dropping mineral price due the coming changes will result in lower build costs. So if there are actually enough builders to fill the market the prices for supers could drop

The ability to pay (more players having more money) is not the same as prices dropping as stated by the OP

And if people have less money, what happens to super prices then?

I don't see how demand for supers could possibly tank anymore than it has, and the very few alliances who subsidized supercap purchases are well placed to continue to do so, tech just being an easy answer to a problem with many solutions for the top-end alliances.

If anything odyssey will drive conflict, and thereby drive demand through their use and destruction.

I think some of you are missing the Elephant in the room.
Major buff to mineral volume, including Trit in null. Should make supers much less costly to build.

Right, because you included the moon change without any explanation, so we were trying to figure out wtf you were talking about.

In all honesty I'd bet that they will probably stay roughly where they are. With the coming mineral changes and the impending large amounts of lowends, we will likely see a reduction in mineral cost; however, with the changes in ice prices there will definitely be an increase in cost simply to fuel the tower they are built on and the towers the BPO's are researched on.

Ya, I've never built so much as a cruiser, and that sounds really wrong to me. I would put fuel costs at roughly "negligible" when talking about super production.

Well ice is how they get around too, so that may effect demand hence price, big active SC fleets use tons but then 0.0 is quiet, at the moment.

The analogy with rl car sales and fuel/gas prices doesn't really work because if it did then you'd buy a car then stop playing life.

This is true. My gut says this might in a large part be shadow nerf to power projection (ie PL), but I'm reserving judgment until we see where the prices for both fuel and moonpoo stabilize.

What happens is, people pool their ISK for their first titan, then a 2nd and so on and so fourth.

Capitals and freighters will drop (should drop) in price, Jump Freighters as well.

The thing that makes Super Caps expensive is they are time stamped and in limited production. Also, they can't really be stored or stock piled so it isn't like someone will have 15 Avatar Titans in back up.

Umm.. Yeah you dont build supers I assume.. Most people aside from maybe the very biggest producers would ever use holding toons to store caps.. as that represents a huge isk investment just sitting there..

Also alot of the bigger alliances do use CSMAs they are just very tightly controlled and usually not left there for long periods of time.. But your average producer.. 90 percent of them just build to order so..

CAPS LOCK IS COOL.. derp

What will happen to the price of supers?

1. Stay the same.
2. Drop ( by what % )
3. Go up.
