Every capsuleer must honor EvE by going on a pilgrimage towards the new eden gate, and leaving a can behind.

coming to think of it, I want more landmarks to explore.

I went there last year, took a screenshot, got out disappointed as I usually am when visiting "must see" places from tourist guides in RL.

I was there a few months ago but didn't drop a container. Nothing so special about it.

I wish the eyecandy would still be there, the hidden station etc. Been a while since I was there on Chribba, do have an alt in system though so I could log on quickly haha

I ran into New Eden only a couple of weeks ago. I jumped through a wormhole only to find myself staring right at the Eve Gate. It's the only time I've ever been to the system and I've almost been playing for two years (I'm not really the MMO tourist type).

You could say that I didn't find New Eden. New Eden found me.

I went there once while being chased by a Nighhawk, so I didn't get to drop a can.

Did the pilgrimage about a month ago. Hated the new design, was way to bright.

Last week.

The Eve gate itself didn't impress me so much as the floating stonehenge, and randomly warping on top of the Sansha wormhole.

But making the long trek up there and back in a shuttle is a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

I visited EVE gate while I was doing the trial and I never forget the trip just because was my first trip in low sec where the savages and dangerous people lives. The disapointment was so huge that I self destructed myself upon arrival. Not worth the time spent, nothing to see. The only thing that impressed me so far was the monolith found in one of the null sec anomalies.

I did the pilgrimmage a couple of months back. It was a suprisingly peaceful journey.

Been close, but never actually stopped to look. Might have to take the scenic route next time I'm wandering past.

I lead a half dozen furries out to New Eden a couple years ago. We (mostly) made it past the Chains of Chaos gate camps that were up at the time, saw the sights, did some exploration, got into another fight (we all got away that time), and in general had a great evening.

I wonder if I should try to get a gang of players from the newbie corp and go try it again. Could be fun.

I don't think I've been to the Eve Gate since 2008. Maybe its time I make another visit.

I logged in yesterday to check my skill queue (it's still there). Then I thought about switching skill training to my alt but then I figured I'll do that later Big smile

Not long after I started playing I made a trip to the Eve Gate. At that time someone posted a thread of all the interesting places to visit so I spend several hours in a shuttle flying around and taking screen shots.

I was terrified then, flying to all these places where anyone could jump out and kill me. There were some close calls but I made it without dying. The running and chases were more exciting than the destinations, but it all made for a very fun day with good screenshots.

Wish I still had those screenies from back then... oh well.

The last time I visited New Eden to see the blown out gate was back in 2003.

Cool

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Titans on fire outside "The Alamo" of NOL-M9. I watched massive Super Capital fleets glitter in the dark near the BKG-Q2 gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...  Time to die.
