Hello,

It' a msg for ccp..

Difference between $ and € is very huge..

144.99 USD = 109.917 EUR
144.99 EUR = 191.254 USD

Why?? Why eurozone have to pay so much more than uszone??

It's been discussed over and over again, with the same result.

If you can't find the threads then I think you'll have to buy it at premium or abstain.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Your dismissal of my post yesterday was like you had not even read it, even after tax, euros inexplicably get charged more and don't have the option to get free shipping.

I did attempt to see if there was any post of it before though.

nice try to make the difference look like 80% to idiots. or maybe you yourself think the difference would be 80 EUR or 80 USD, whatever. actually the difference is only about 30 EUR. now just consider different taxes in the contries/regions and you know why the price difference is there. anyways its not a big difference. and you didnt have to make yet another thread, next time use an existing one or better yet, just shut up. its unbelieveable that you even went all the way to make a new characters just for this post (which makes me think you are probably just an alt of the person that made the other threads)

btw your attempt to see if there was already a post about this cant have taken you longer than 1 second, which you probably only spend to search the new topic button.

The last thing now. If you like the prices for US citizens either move their or just order it from amazon.com and let it ship here ^^

Yah.. Welcome to eve.. thank's for your so nicely answers..

i'm not a alt of the previous op (but you have to read french.. sorry).. i really not found the first post about it..
I'm just ask a simple question.. why do you have to be so angry about it?? (oh wait.. i'm a eve player)

The taxe don't explain everything.. Iceland is in EU i believe?!

It's not 30€ but 40€ (out of my wallet) or almost 30%, and is not a little difference.. it's 4 month in game time (€10.95 a month €131.40 total) or 2+ plex.. 1b in game ISK..

If your think you are in this 80%, i'm not change your mind.. but thanks again for the other..

I'm not re*ard.. i'm just asking a question at ccp.. your are??

Edit : This topic can be closed.. i'm going to continue on the previous post (thank's to find it for me :) )

Unless something has changed since I last checked, amazon US wont ship that particular product outside of US.

And even after tax, the EU version still costs more no matter which way you cut it, even excluding shipping consideration.

Yeah...try converting the difference to GBP...and then use the UK tax rate...

Its like woah, excuse me???

Small price to pay not to live in the US.

But seriously its hard to put much blame on CCP for this they do try and make their subscriptions balanced and give alternatives there which is what really matters. When you are spending $150 on some cosmetic internet spaceships it's hard to take complaints about relative pricing seriously.

The UK price is about £135 with postage and taxes, as the 149.99 euro price INCLUDES the regional taxes.

There will also be an import and shipping duty to europe if the item is manufactured in the US, which may help explain the £40 (approx) difference between the Us149.99 converted to Sterling and Euro converted to Sterling.

Aye just over £40, so all these people complaining that theres a difference of €30... In UK money thats roughly £25...So the UK is paying £15 more haha...

Im not complaining...Im saving for it... But I was just making the point that if you want it...buy it...simple as rather than winge that the price is screwy... (trying to say that in the nicest way possible) lol

As someone from the US. Id just like to add that the USD price is unusually high for even a collectors edition game by about 60 bucks. I don't know much about euro prices but to me it seems like a rip off. Sorry to hear this.

Skyrim collectors edition was £100-125 for the Xbox version, so its about at the upper end of the scale, though some collectors editions are well below that price, it depends on whats included.
