You should build Battlecruisers. Don't bother researching the blueprints first. Ain't nobody got time for that.

1. Train production efficiency 5
2. Find a spreedsheet or manufacturing tool that can tell you what is profitable
3. Learn to use 2. effectively

Ospreys. Fly like a beagle.

Great profit if you mine your minerals to keep costs down.

Of course they do. Anything I (bot)mine myself is free - sheesh. You came to us asking for help, and when we offer it you're all like "nuh-uh!"

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Unfortunately there are people stupid enough to believe it. (not saying anyone in particular is. Just that I've seen that advice in a non-sarcastic form.)

Oh I've run into a couple in game. Had one guy swearing and tossing insults for over an hour because I didn't understand that Omber was the best ore to mine because of the Isogen.

Subsidize materials/minerals you need with your surplus stock.

PE/ME-16/16 minimum

Check price history in market data often. Familiarize yourself with the prices of what you will be dealing in. Know them from components/minerals all the way to finished product. Knowing market prices is an efficiency multiplier for manufacturers.

Of course it does. How else would you make a profit manufacturing Ospreys?

Look, it's like this. I have 10 million isk, right? I mine some minerals, and I still have 10 million isk. I build them into an Osprey, and sell it for 4.3 million isk.

Now I have 14.3 million isk, because it was all profit, because my minerals were free. It would have cost me like 7 million isk to buy those minerals. Saves me a TON of money!
