The possible abundance of Terran art assets

Hey all, I'm concerned lore-wise with Odyssey regarding it's exploration (namely archaeology) overhaul. Namely where there will be left over Terran colony ships and other intractable entities in-game that are related directly to the old world.

For the little time I've been playing EVE, I've absorbed the EVE universe and deeply enjoyed the lore. I've read the books, read chronicles, and overall immersed myself. But what's getting to me in Odyssey is that we now:

1) Know what Terran colony ships look like

2) Will be able to interact with their still intact (!) wreckage

This, to me, takes away from the EVE universe, because the origins of New Eden are something that remain in complete, shrouded mystery because it's interesting, and let's us make theories. The Jovians as the "origin" faction is way more interesting than "can you believe that we left all of these terran shuttles un-discovered for a decade?" New Eden was well-traveled, you'd think we'd find things like TERRAN WRECKAGE floating about? It's like finding Prothean beacons every other system.

Also, wasn't old, Terran weapons tech behind Jamyl's Xerath superweapon? That alone should have ruled out terran wreckage, who knows if ship-board weapons might be left intact.

Or should I just suck it up and accept the "origin friendly" take on exploration?

I'm not sure of the actual message here. Are you upset because we'll be focusing on Terrans with the next expansion, or are you upset that the holes have been filled, so to speak, taking some of the mystery and personal interpretation away?

Like the terran ships. I saw them in the Origin trailer, and saw how they seemed to borrow from each of the four empires (or the opposite, to get technical). Amarrian curves with Caldari utility, Minmatar solar panels and Gallente engines. I personally felt it was such a great addition. It looked like something we would invent in real life and use in the next hundred years, while also giving a bit of itself to each race and providing inspiration for their designs. Tying today with the time of EvE. Very clever.

As the science and skill in New Eden advances, so will the mystery of Terran artifacts dwindle ... for the most part. Even in today's time, things like Greek Fire and Roman concrete, or the abilities of Egyptians for moving masses of earth and stone, mystify us. Some things just get lost.

I think I like the new approach. We'll see how it plays out though.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?
