Clone Costs

The cost of clone replacement is the reason I only very rarely PvP in nullsec or wormhole space.

I'm not talking about the cost of replacing implants; jump clones allow me to swap to a cheap (or the lack of a) implant set to help limit my losses should I lose my pod. There's no way to manage the costs of clones unless I feel like losing a ton of skills.

Dust mercs are starting to own clone generation facilities on planets. I wouldn't be suprised if we start to export them to you all.

It's been done to more and more 'items', so let players manufacture clones. Turn it into a science/industry and let thsoe willing to learn a skill or two and put in the work create their own clones. At least the costs will be flexible and arrange them so they are cheaper then buying them through NPC sources.

I have to say that the costs of replacing my clone is becoming more and more a barrier for fast and dirty PVP rather than the ship loss.

Awwww . . . do you have too many skillpoints? I have a similar problem. I have too much ISK.

There are solutions:

1. Stop PVPing.
2. Stop getting podded.
3. Use a newer character. (Since skillpoints aren't that relevant in this game, you should probably just make a brand new character. Jump in your Nyx. You're good to go.)
4. Clone Grade Alpha (Go hard!)

And now you see why this is bad game design.
