There are some dust players that have no interest in playing EVE, who would how ever, like to get their hands on the dust items in the collectors pack but a reluctant to buy the entire collectors edition.

Since the dust players cannot post here to ask, I am playing emissary, and asking if there are any EVE players that have no interest in dust and would like to trade those dust codes.

feel free to message me if you are interested and I will get you in contact with interested dust mercs.

disclaimers and petition response below.

If anyone does file a ruling, could you post the results? I too want to know this.

It couldn't possibly violate the EULA.

When you buy the collector's edition, the content is legally yours, not tied to an account. The codes are your property to sell...

Selling them for isk is certainly against the EULA though.

How? If The Mittani and Riverini can pay writers in isk and people can advertise in podcasts for isk and so on and so forth, then selling something out of game for isk cannot possibly be against the EULA. The only thing that would be against the EULA is selling INGAME items for REAL WORLD money, not the other way around.

@mechtech I am of the same opinion that as it is a physical object and not something on your account it does not fall under RMT, but I would rather be sure.

@dark heartt seems right isk for real world services doesn't seem to be an issue, that said in this case it is impractical if not impossible, as it would require finding a third party interested in buying dust isk with eve isk to act as a money changer since they are effectively separate currencies for now.

I received a all clear from CCP, so any one who is interested please post below. The voucher codes for the dust Item will be sent out on or around the 7th of may. If anyone has a web site that they would be willing to use to organize this better please let me know below.

The complete text of the petition response is below for those who are interested, also please note the warning in the second paragraph. If you come up with a way to prevent abuse by both parties please post it here so others can make use of it. I am only acting as an intermediary connecting interested parties, and as such will not accept any responsibility for scams.

"When the Collectors edition box is purchased, the codes become the legal property of the person paying for the box. CCP does not have any way of enforcing or monitoring the transactions performed between players using these codes (Between Dust and EVE players).

We can only advise that players proceed with these transactions at their own risk and that they are fully aware of the potential risks involved in doing so. Any issues that occur will be the responsibility of the original owner of the code during these transactions and CCP will not intervene."

What sort of ISK are we talking about to purchase a Dust code?

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.
