Do you think current t1 Battleships are where they should be?

Just curious as to what everyone's opinions are concerning battleship strength compared to other hull classes. (talking about pvp)


my personal opinion (and of course there are always exceptions) is that BC are MUCH to effective at the job of what id think a Battleship would do. I believe the gap between a BC's tank and dps and a BS's tank and dps in general is far to slim, and thats not even touching on agility and tracking penalties of larger sized ships.

I know that as is they still have their place but in my perfect world of eve battleships would retain their slow speed and poor tracking but have a significant boost in tanking ability as well as damage output.

it just seems like when you finally get to the point where u can pilot all these cool ships they are just WAY too underwhelming. carriers mainly get used as glorified industrial ships, titans are moving jump gates, supers are on par with expectations and even dreadnaughts cant do literally anything but hit a pos and collect dust.. i feel like to a smaller degree battleships are the same.

how do you guys feel about em?



just an extra clarification: im not saying any BC can tank as much or more as a BS counterpart im just saying i think the margin should possibly be a little larger than current.. assuming we leave the abbadon alone =P

I'd love to see a battlecruiser that can tank as much as a battleship that isn't a brick tank, though I do get more dps from my naga than I do from a rokh which is meh.

Wait till Summer. Odyssey is seriously revamping T1 battleships.

They are represented well enough in PvP to show the class is far from obsolete.
