Empire Factions Going Away?

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I think this is a really cool idea.

The empires are losing power compared to US. They're hampered by a duty of care to their untold billions of people, and shackled to planets and gravity wells.
Capsuleers like us are bound to nobody. We flit from system to system, station to station, interacting with empire economies only long enough to be taxed and have blueprints and skillbooks sold to us. With the rise of nullsec factions and even highsec dwellers getting antsy (Jita protests, Burn Jita, Gallente Ice interdiction, etc.), they're getting scared.
Even by banning the reprocessing of drone alloys, they failed to make much impact.

I admittedly want a better factional warfare model and desire to see stronger, more varied, empire and factional space for it to happen within. Not everyone really wants to be part of the big blue blob in null or see it as some form of progression to end game or the point of play. People like me need some where to have fun warring and exploring in New Eden too. As sweet as she looked closing her eyes and trying to will the audience to share her vision I found it difficult not to cringe. I don’t mind new toys in null. Just not at the expense of devaluing everyone elses’ play.

You're saying that the race will be a blend of all four in name, but only feature the primary colours of the gallente (green) and minmatar (brown) ? GTFO. Only Cal(dari) is capitalized, and starts the title, thus, supreme Caldari overlords will obviously be in charge, and the flag will be Blue.

What Drunken Bum says otherwise is correct, OP: You have hit the nail on the head; all empire factions are being deleted, all races are being merged, and Russians must now play on the Asian server (Serenity)

One thing that might be cool is getting the NPC's to "fight back" against the capsuleer empires. put an old RTS AI in charge of each faction, it starts deploying miners, building ships/fleets, and declaring outright war on the nullsec factions.

now lets say CF/HBC start becoming a serious threat, so much that caldari or gallente stand the risk of ebing overthrown, well then of course you have the same scenario presented in EVERY rts game ever made, NPC factions decide they want you dead more than eachother, and team up for one huge FU attack TwistedTwistedTwisted

the star gate will probably be a null sec only, or maybe wormhole as well, as for the empires loosing control maybe they make low-sec a 3 way battle ground of "faction vs faction vs null-sec alliances"
