Too much DUST stuff on the Fanfest stream. No live coverage of important things from Fanfest.

All jokes aside, that was a really fantastic presentation. Kudos to CCP for thinking of doing something like that.

I am sure there's going to be tons of neckbeards howling about how they aren't interested in something that exists in the real world, but i am sure that everyone involved will know to disregard those guys and chalk this one up as a success.

Because the setup is the same as last year:
Day 1 — Dust-focused.
Day 2 — EVE-focused.
Day 3 — CCP & community-focused.

Day 1 used to be a lot shorter before they filled it with Dust, so all in all, I don't think much EVE-related content is being lost (at least none that could reasonably go into a stream).

pfft, who are you to imply that people should be able to read and understand the posted schedule!!! Lol

Dust. Anybody? No? High in fat, low in fat? Dust. Anybody? No? Dust. Anybody? No? Dust. Anybody? No? Dust. Anybody? No? Dust. Anybody? No? Dust.

It's actually very low in fat. You can have as much dust as you like.

As some one who plays both EvE and Dust..... I like the Dust stuff :)

But seriously 1 dust keynote and a couple of hour long slots doesn't = "the whole of the schedule"

EvE keynote is tonight and there's plenty more to come!

*edit*

Just did a quick count of the hour long slots on the schedule:

Eve: 17 slots
Dust: 5 slots
Mixture of both: 4 slots
Misc: 5 slots

Eh, it's not too bad, just one presentation. And anyway, it was funny. I was watching the part where CCP presenter said something along the lines of "who here has tried it?", talking about some feature of Dust, and the audience was like "...?..." *crickets*. Made me laugh out loud.

Its called Fanfest not Evefest. The Dust content has every right to be featured on the stream as the EVE stuff. Also the Alliance panel not being shown on the stream has nothing to do with the Dust presentations, its because CCP don't want to risk what happened last year being repeated. Seriously guys there are like three Dust presentations and the rest is EVE related.

You know, maybe there's a reason they chose not to stream the Alliance and CSM panels live this year... Roll

Someone got drunk and said something stupid, then everyone jumped on the bandwagon of self-righteousness.

Anyway I wish I had bought the HD stream. I mean I still could, but since Fanfest is what, half over it doesn't seem worth it anymore.

I'm also getting annoyed at the lack of eve content yesterday was fine its meant to be a dust day but today should be eve and while the real life asteroid mining was interesting It should have been a vod on youtube not a main presentation. And please fix the fact you dont record the round tables you've had many years to sort this even if it was just a voice recording released afterwards. We want to know about this stuff.

I dont care about all this dust stuff.

Why is there so much dust on the livestream, but the interesting stuff is left out?

I was hoping to watch stuff like the alliance panel, the CSM panel or round-table coverage - thats why I bought the HD stream.

Will I be able to watch recordings of rounttable or other things?
If so, when?

Disappointed so far. Lowpoint was when I missed the first 20 minutes of the econ talk, because you guys didnt get the stream up on time.

wtf Cry

Dust is relevant to EVE

EVE only is the past, get over it.

No, CCP is trying really, really hard to convince everyone that Dust is relevant to EVE. That's not the same as it actually being true.

Alright. Here's how you make DUST relevant. Capturable, conquerable stations? Have them destructible, as well. You need DUST boarders to capture a station, but can nuke it with enough firepower if you don't have the DUSTies on hand.

The problem is, they've already said they don't want to do anything that will make the two games depend on each other for something important, because if one game fails, then both games would fail. That alone should basically say that DUST will remain mostly irrelevant for most EVE players.
