Looking for suggestions on my nemesis fit

I plan to rat battle ships in random hostile null. I'm using a pvp fit so I can snatch up the occasional soft target of opportunity. It would be a hound but I don't have mini frig V yet...yet

Nemesis
3x arbalest torps
Cov Ops cloak

Meta 4 MSE
AB II
Warp disruptor II
Meta 4 TP

Ball Co II
MAPC I

2x rigors

Open to suggestions on how to change the fit and tips on how to fly it. This is my first stealth bomber.
Thanks in advance.

Looks pretty good, but I honestly hate medium extenders on Bombers, but since it is for ratting I guess it is necessary. For a pvp fit, you are better off fitting AB, Point, TP, and Sensor Damp.

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

My original fit was mwd, tp, 2 x sd but I had no tank & no point. I really want to be able to take on a target if I see something within my engagement envelope so I changed the fit to this. How long will an mse hold out under drone fire? And honestly, what is within the engagement envelope if a fit like this?

Even with the MSE you still have no tank Lol

I guess I'll just have to go out and loose a few before deciding if the 2 x sd is a better tank than an mse

What is the test server and what does it do?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Train T2 launchers asap. You are going to want Javalin torpedoes a lot. Faction and normal torpedoes aint bad for regular pvp/pve, but the range on Javalin torpedoes makes a world of difference for everything.

Its a long haul but it will change the way you look at the flexibillity of your bomber.

And your bomber wont ever tank anything, if you get caught you die. Avoid that.

That's a solid fit, I'd maybe add an offline probe launcher in the free high.

^ T2 launchers and Javelins as really nice for their ability to pop smaller ships (range is not really relevant in any situation, your max range is overheated long point range) but getting MSE and T2 torps on a Nemesis might not be that easy.

Bomber dude... already has a range bonus (60km), and will have to be within point range anyway Blink

Also T2 launchers are a complete 'kitten' to get on, you'd gimp the rest of your fit.

Also also javalins dont help you hit smaller stuff...

To OP i would swap the rigor rigs for a catalyst, and Poly. Your targets are ratting BS's, industrials, idiots... speed and cloak is your tank.

[Nemesis, New Setup 1]
Micro Auxiliary Power Core I
Ballistic Control System II

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Medium Shield Extender II
Faint Warp Disruptor I
Target Painter II

Prototype 'Arbalest' Torpedo Launcher, Caldari Navy Inferno Torpedo
Prototype 'Arbalest' Torpedo Launcher, Caldari Navy Inferno Torpedo
Prototype 'Arbalest' Torpedo Launcher, Caldari Navy Inferno Torpedo
Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
[empty high slot]

Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
Small Polycarbon Engine Housing I

If you have problems fitting you can drop the MSE II for a meta4

(offline probe launcher is a good idea)

No Worries

Damn, that's actually true, faction torps and Javelins have same explosion velocity and radius, I've been comparing them to just Rages.

Nice, so yeah meta launchers will do just as fine against small ships.

Painter goes 45+90 range and you cant target that far. I wish there was some type of targetting module that makes you able to lock from further away and being completely immune to NPC damage and use the full power of javalin torps.

I wonder.. P

But if jumping people in a bomber is the goal yeah, faction ammo is good enough and go for meta. But range will screw every NPC up.

The TP really starts losing effectiveness out past 60km and javalin's hurt your damage a lot too (1/4? -> 1/5 dmg depending on skills)
For PvE kill the small stuff first/ at range (dont enguage with elite frigs lol) you can get under the guns of anything else.
Kiting your rats just hurts your dmg too much. Get in there, kill them faster, make more isk.

PvP... you need to be in point range... and you need to kill the bad guys asap.

No Worries

i used a nano bomber for ratting out in null b4 and its a good choice. this is the fit i had used and was rather effective. long as u keep ur speed up ur good. my tactic was to keep my speed as high as possible wheile orbiting a battleship rat at about 15-20 km. if i took a shot id use the ASB.

U-292 manticore

highs:
3x arbalests
claok

mids:
2x meta 4 TP
MWD
med. ASB

lows:
2x BCS

rigs:
2x poly carbon engine

if it wasnt for the bullet nobody would fear the the gun

Slight problem is that OP didnt specify what type of rats he's going to shoot. I assure you, try your trick on Blood Raiders and report back how quick you lost your ship.
I made it a bit of a one-size-fits-all story but different rats different (better) tactics.

Solid fit. I would put a Bomb launcher on there.

dps rigs, not rigors.
salvager in the spare high if it's fr ratting. (only salvage faction wrecks obviously.)
