Someone brainy needs to apply some boffin power to these and tell us all whether they are any good.

Whether they are any good depends entirely on what they cost, which depends on their drop rate and how many people use them, which is not easy to predict.

If it's not overly expensive then Optimized Augmentation looks pretty good.

i'm not very versed in T2 production, but aren't decryptors reusable? if so, they might be a nice addition even if costing a bit more.

Well if a tool is being manufactured. There must be a specific job related to that tool. However. If the operator is incompetant. The tool is useless. However. If the manufacturer is incompetant. Then the operator may be doomed. On the other hand. If there aren't the right related tools. Then the project is brought to a standstill. Resulting in donuts, coffee, and angry foremans. The goal of the drafting and design engineer is to make the end result product damned near impossible for the installation tech to install. And the end user to grasp a basic understanding of. Edited for lack of sense. From 'The big book of engineering facts'.
