Your playing requirements remind me a bit of my own - I'm a teacher in real life and can't abide the juvenile nonsense invading my play time too!

Vicis has both newbies and veterans, so it's an environment in which you can learn and not feel judged for making the usual mistakes. Maturity is a requirement of mine, we have no members younger than 18, and a few in their 40s. It's a rich mix of adults who have lots of fun together and cut each other slack for real life. This is a game and should remain fun always!

We started with 5 RL and gaming buddies, and have grown quickly. We still fall under your <30 requirement and may go slightly over. However, I never want to get large enough that I don't know each member as an individual. Right now I can tell you off the top of my head who in my corp just discovered he'll be a dad, who is graduating in a month, the member who can't log in this week because his coworker just quit, and which members all share the bonds of military background. If I wanted to be a cog in a big machine I would have joined an existing corporation for the shiny benefits, but for me Eve is a social game where we share each others' successes as we build our little sandcastles. We're building from the ground up, it's an exciting time.

We do a bit of everything. Some sample activities from the last week:
Corporation mining op with 9 pilots and orca support
Helping three members start their Epic Arcs with a gang of ten pilots, great team-building exercise.
Training roam and some members' first visit to the Eve-gate, a ball of frigates in attendance and no targets
Another roam stepped up to BCs that ended abruptly to gate camps and laughter.

We are mostly US TZ with some daytime players and a sprinkle of EU. All are great and supportive people. Many have kids, most have jobs, and all have a sense of humor. As I look for new friends, I will be less interested in those that flaunt their SP or ISK like a status symbol, and much more interested in those who want to join our community and just have fun.

You sound like one of these.
