I am planning to use this character to run a POS eventually. He already has most of the skills for it but before I create a corp and buy a POS(mostly for research). I would like to join a good Indy corp. to learn the process. So my question is does anyone have any good corp's to recommend for this guy? Thx in advance.

TBH the process is dirt simple to the point that I would go so far as to say that there really isn't a process. You find a vacant moon, you anchor/fuel/online a tower at said moon, then you start adding labs and assembly arrays and hangars and what-have-you. Done.

There are some written guides out there if you need to know more, but it's definitely not the kind of thing that requires any particular amount of studying under a seasoned expert.

Like mentioned before, just read a few guides. I began running a Pos only about 6 months into game (over 5 years ago granted). So it really doesn't require an apprenticeship. Besides most corps aren't going to let you mess with their POSs because of the risk of theft.

I once podded myself by blowing a huge fart.

As the previous posters said, setting it up isn't that difficult. What you've got to figure out is how to keep it fueled. Will you have outside isk generators that you'll buy fuel blocks with or will you be ice mining and running PI to make the fuel? Either takes preparation to make sure you can keep your POS running.
