Hey ya EFT Warriors!
I am looking for a reasonable Faction Fitted Tengu.
My Margin is 3 bil.
Deadspace and officer mods are fine.
I am ratting Sansha's in Null sov'd semi safe space.

Uhhh....use that 3 bil to fit a bunch of Oracles instead. Tengu will have a hard time popping the higher bounty rats when its dmg bonus is specific to kinetic dmg. That is unless you're using covops sub in which, faction bcus and hardeners will be enough and you may be able to afford a second one.

Looking for a tengu fit please. I want it shiny and pimped. While being effective. I'm doing forlorn hubs and othier anoms.

Fit doesn't work. The cap regen matrix that gives you the fifth low shorts you a launcher. You pretty much have to go with augmented cap resevoir, but that only leaves four lows for BCUs. The tradeoff really comes in whether you want a sixth mid or a utility high.

In any case, the Oracle idea was probably the right one to start with. But if you absolutely must pimp your Tengu for Sansha ratting, maybe this:

606 damage fully implanted (that's pure EM btw, not kinetic). 624 tank against Sanshas, and if you need that much in anoms with a range/speeed tank (707m/s no implants and fury goes to ~68km) on top of it you're definitely doing it wrong. Oh, and cap stable!

It's just not all that impressive though.

You are right, my fit does not work. Seems I made a mistake.

Yours seem pretty good. One question tho, Wouldn't using Tengu's kinetic bonus be better even tho Sansha is week against EM ?

Even with the 25% kinetic advantage you still do ~20% more damage against Sanshas using EM missiles.

Here's the best fitting tip I can give you: If you're going to spend 3 bil, don't spend it on a Tengu, get either a Mach, Vargur, Nightmare or Paladin.

If you don't have the skills or simply insist on using a Tengu, don't spent 3 bil on it, 1.5billion is the max before diminishing returns is so severe that you're paying hundreds of millions for tiny performance increases that is not even close to being worth it.

If you can't accept all that advice, go ahead and pimp your Tengu with 3 bil, in fact go balls to wall with a full officer fit.

Why don't you get your self an CNR or an SNI, you'll will have most skills already, If you're in sov space that is.

Cheaper more damage and a Cruise buff on the way.

No point using an SNI, it's not like you'll have trouble tanking and you get the all important extra launcher on the CNR. I have no experience ratting in null but heres how I'd fit one if I wanted to blow 3 bil, I used L4s as a benchmark for required tank.

You need a Genolution implant to fit this or you need to tweak the fit (downgrading the painters/hardeners is easiest)

I am wondering why the insistence of the OP that it must be a tengu. Is this just for being able to cloak/nul travel? If you are in a station system inside friendly so it would seem unnecessary to have the changes for travel. If it is strictly a fashion choice then by all means fit what ever hull you like. Otherwise you are planning to spend a lot of isk on a ship that will be out performed by hulls a fraction of the cost.

All that being said do please tell us what system you are using this loot pig in so we can come help relieve your boredom in anoms.
